Extremly fast thermal printer in splashwater-resistant design Citizen CT-S2000/L With its unique high-speed DMA (Direct Memory Access) the CT-S2000 is a two-colour, thermal printer capable of “real-world” speeds up to 220 mm/second.
It offers a variety of advanced printer features including the Spill-Shield™ design to prevent damage from moisture or foreign objects to the internal mechanism, large capacity (102mm) drop-in paper loading, Quick-Clear™ technology for one-touch clearing of cutter jams, a two-million cut rated auto paper cutter, USB interface standard on ALL units (serial and parallel), and can accommodate four different paper widths (58, 60, 80, and 82.5 mm).
The CT-S2000 offers your customers genuine high-speed printing with up to 220 mm per second at 8 dots/mm (203 dpi). Using the intelligent direct memory access (DMA), the CT-S2000 optionally prints two-coloured receipts without delays. No matter if your customers require high-performance receipt printing, perfectly printed ticket and vouchers, or a fast printer for transcripts - the Citizen CT-S2000 is always the right choice. The CT-S2000 is equipped with the patented Spill Shield that prevents damage from liquids and foreign objects – additional protective covers used in comparable products are not necessary anymore. The front paper output with integrated auto cutter guarantees that users only receive cleanly cut receipts. If the cutter stops because of objects or creased paper, it returns automatically to its rest position using a self-retracting system, giving users access for servicing. The high-speed receipt printer can process large paper rolls of up to 102 mm in diameter, minimising media changes and failures. The entire lid opens on contact, receipt rolls of different widths from 82.5, 80, 60 and 58 mm are replaced within seconds: simply insert the roll, close the lid and start printing! The CT-S2000 is also available as label printer variant for special applications. The CT-S2000L has the same specifications as the receipt printer model. It prints labels of various sizes using direct thermal printing at speeds of up to 220 mm per second. The standardly integrated label sensor detects the end of the labels automatically, allowing the auto cutter to slice off the labels cleanly. Optionally, the CT-S2000L is also available with reflective mark sensor (black mark) for labels without liner and perforated labels. The AC adaptor is integrated in all standard models, effectively reducing cable tangle and failures due to damaged cables. If necessary, the adaptor can be replaced in only a few steps. The printer is equipped with a USB interface by default, and a second interface (parallel, serial, or Ethernet) can be added according to its desired application. The device is also equipped with two integrated cash register interfaces and provides compatibility with almost any cash box on the market. | ||||||||
