The XD4 is a professional textile printer that prints both sides onto swing tickets. The printer was designed for the textile industry with printing on both sides in mind.  For double-sided printing onto high quality Card; ideal for the Retail Trade.
 

Primary features

  • Material guide left or centre aligned
  • The margin stops are located directly at the printhead and can be adjusted with a spindle.
  • The shiftable label sensor is adjustable with a knurled screw.
  • Supply hub for core diameters from 20 mm. Both guides are adjusted centred to the material width. Due to a spacer on the axis the positioning is easy.
  • Supply hub for core diameters from 38 mm. The roll is inserted into the roll retainer and positioned automatically with the margin stops.
  • The ribbon is mounted onto the expansion axis and adjusted with the position generator. A spacer can be used alternatively.

Application for

  • Very slender materials from 3 mm width
  • Very thick materials up to 1,2 mm thickness
  • Especially for flat compressed heat shrink tubes with a gap height up to 4,5 mm
  • Difficult printable surfaces with reduced print speed from 30 mm/sec.

  • Technical Details

    The handling, the electronic, the printheads and the mechanical components are extensively taken from the transfer printer A4+

  • Material guide

    Due to the centre alignment of the materials within the machine there is no need to adjust the print heads for different widths any more. The guides are placed directly behind the print line. The adjustments are taken centrally with a spindle.

  • Shaft media roll

    Appropriate for cores from 38 mm diameter. The material is placed into the roll retainer and automatically adjusted with the margin stop.

  • Material sensor

    For identification of punching and reflecting marks as well as label start and end of material. for different widths any more. The guides are placed directly behind the print line. The adjustments are taken centrally with a spindle.

  • Ribbon

    It is placed upon the three part tightening axle and adjusted with the positioning indicator. A spacer can be used alternatively

    Cutter CU4 and PCU4

    The cutter CU4 is used to cut labels, cardboards, textiles or heat shrink-able tubing separately, either in multiple cuts or at the end of the print job.

    The perforation cutter is used to cut labels, cardboards, textiles or heat shrink-able tubing separately, either in multiple cuts or at the end of the print job.

     Stacker with Cutter ST4/M

    Countinuous material or labels can be cut and piled up with the stacker. The width is adjusted with a spindle. Material with a width from 25-100 mm, a length from 20-150 mm and a height up to 150 mm can be piled up (bigger heights of pile on request).
    The storage table is adjusted to the label size. The print job stops when the height of pile is reached.
