Hi-Open™ case: opens “vertically” meaning that the footprint of the printer does not change when the cover is open

Front Loading Rewinder (CL-S700R model) for easy rewinding of the backing paper when printing in "peel mode" or when printing batches of labels. The front of the printer drops down for the simplest rewinder operation ever seen!

300 dpi higher resolution available as a factory option using our CL-S703 model or by upgrading a 200 dpi model.

Easy ribbon loading: Hi-Lift™ metal mechanism opening to a full 90° to allow for easy ribbon access. Our CL-S700DT model is direct thermal only making ideal for courier and logistics applications.

Cross-Emulation™: Supports both Datamax® and Zebra® emulations and will sense the language being used and offer to switch emulations automatically.

Cross-Emulation™: Supports both Datamax® and Zebra® emulations. If the printer is in standard mode and Zebra ZPL-II® code is sent to the printer, the printer will display a message and offer to switch emulations automatically.

For high-resolution output, the CL-S703 and CL-S703R models features a 300 dpi printhead. 300 dpi printing is suitable for three main areas:

• Compliance with EAN barcode standards used in the retail industry
   
• Printing of small barcodes (due to space restrictions)
   
• High-quality graphics and logos such as serial number rating plates, CE or WEEE logos, etc.
