| The BL-C111CE/131CE is a camera for private users (e.g. baby monitoring) that is increasingly used for commercial applications, such as in geriatric care, checkout areas or shop surveillance. The camera is easily installed and helps users to be sure that the stove is turned off or the children are fast asleep. | |
The camera features a built-in web interface, which makes access to pictures and camera settings possible over the internet. Recorded pictures can be accessed as single slides in JPEG format or video files in MPEG or MPEG4 format. The pan and tilt function allows the surveillance of large areas. A web browser is sufficient to access up to 16 cameras at the same time. Up to 4 camera pictures can be displayed in multi-playback mode at the same time.
If the integrated passive infrared sensor or the integrated motion detector trigger an alarm event, all pictures stored in the memory buffer are sent to an FTP server. At the same time, the camera can send an email to a previously configured address. Using Universal Plug and Play (UPnP), installation of the camera is just a matter of seconds. The BL-C131CE is the WiFi variant of the BL-111CE and connects to WLAN networks wirelessly, which makes network integration even easier.
The camera requires a DC 12V power supply that is provided through the supplied AC adaptor. The optional Panasonic HD-PLC adaptor makes network configuration extremely easy with the help of a mains socket: Every socket turns into a potential access point to your network. | | |
