An integrated motion detector can trigger an alarm event. Once the motion detector registers activities, the camera sends an alarm email to a pre configurated address with a still picture. Another 250 pictures (320x240 pixels) can be stored in its internal memory. Access of pictures and camera settings is possible over the built-in web interface. The camera connects to a network and does not require an extra computer.
A preview function that is included in the provided software allows simultaneous surveillance of up to 16 camera sites from your browser. Up to 4 camera pictures can be displayed in multi-playback mode at the same time. The camera pictures are divided into three groups so that activities in basement, ground floor and upper floor can be monitored at a glance.
Contrary to the BL-C1CE, the BL-C20 is a wireless model that can access a WLAN router from any location and allows a high amount of flexibility. This makes the BL-C20CE the perfect choice for everyone who has only a limited wired network or no wired internet at all.
The camera requires a DC 12V power supply that is provided through the supplied AC adaptor. The optional Panasonic HD-PLC adaptor makes network configuration extremely easy with the help of a mains socket: Every socket turns into a potential access point to your network.
The optionally available software BB-HNP15CE offers even more detailed and comfortable surveillance functions. | | |
